Torrie at the MTC

This is my (Torrie's mom's) first attempt at blogging, but I'm willing to do it for Torrie as I hopefully help to chronicle her mission experience. Here she is wheeling her luggage down to the designated spot at the MTC. It's a really cold day, but everyone here is so warm and welcoming. Almost as soon as we stepped out of the car, a sister missionary ran up to her who had been in her Missionary Prep class up at USU (leaving for Thailand). That alone made her feel that she was among friends.

What are the chances Torrie would be assigned a luggage spot with the same number as her birthday? Hard to forget and another little "tender mercy." Carter and Hannah take this opportunity for another hugging opportunity.

The day wouldn't be complete without the official picture in front of the MTC sign....

Doesn't she look great with her missionary tag? Oh, the places she'll go and the things that she'll see....

What a perfect visual reminder of what this is all about. We're so proud of her. Way to go Hermana Fedor!
